The initial challenge
As a busy business owner, Adam wanted a multifunctional garden room that could serve as a home gym for his daily workouts, a private sauna for relaxation and recovery, and discreet storage to keep the space organised. He also wanted the garden room to seamlessly blend into his garden, ensuring it looked as good as it functioned.
Our approach
During our initial consultation, we worked closely with Adam to design a bespoke solution that met all his requirements. The structure was built using SIP kits for superior insulation and sound reduction, anchored on eco-friendly ground screws to protect his garden.
The sauna was a key feature, carefully integrated with proper insulation and ventilation to ensure comfort and durability. High-quality, moisture-resistant wood was selected for the sauna panels, and specialised gym flooring was installed throughout the space for safety and durability. We also incorporated hidden storage that allowed Adam to keep his gym equipment and other items organised, maintaining a clutter-free environment without compromising functionality.
To ensure the room blended seamlessly with Adam’s garden, we used cedar cladding on the exterior, complementing the natural aesthetic of his outdoor space.
